Throughout our childhood dad worked continuously to provide us with a good life. Lovely holidays every year at Butlins. 1983 a special year. I was 16 and we took a long holiday to Germany to spend with Uncle Doug and family. What a fabulous holiday. Travelling around the Black Forest in the camper van all modernised and decked out for our trips. BBQs at every opportunity - bratwurst sausages and venier schnitzel our favourite. A wonderful family holiday and a fantastic 16th birthday I will always remember.
